The event
Five days inside an urban jungle.
From 26 to 30 August, plants, trees and climbers transform Piazza Trento e Trieste into an urban jungle.
Inside the Ferrara Buskers Festival, the first edition of Eco-Jungle comes to life — a space where nature hosts talks, workshops and meetings dedicated to sustainability, creating a place to pause and rediscover an authentic connection with nature and with each other.
In a world where everything rushes, Eco-Jungle invites you to slow down. Because even in the heart of a city, a jungle can grow.

Theme
Eco-anxiety: we start from what we feel.
The first edition of Eco-Jungle is dedicated to eco-anxiety, a condition that affects more and more people, especially young people.
There is a subtle feeling that often stays with us when we look at the future, at climate change and at the state of the planet. It is that sense of worry and helplessness in the face of forces that feel too big to handle alone.
Eco-anxiety is not an irrational reaction. It is an incredibly clear-headed response, especially common among the younger generation. It is the signal of someone who simply cares about the world they live in.
We want to start right here.
Eco-Jungle wants to turn these feelings into awareness, dialogue and the chance to act.
Through exchanges with experts, artists, therapists and activists, we create an urban space where you can slow down and rediscover listening. Here, change is not driven by fear or guilt. It grows naturally from people meeting and working together. Because sustainability is, first of all, a question of human connection that starts from a shared urgency: we can no longer look the other way.
We want this space to become an open workshop, a place to channel the energy of that worry and build, step by step, real answers and solutions. Because the alternative to feeling helpless is to start doing something together. We are waiting for you to help shape this tomorrow.
The programme
Four ways to live the jungle.
Talks
Meetings with experts, science communicators and professionals who look at eco-anxiety from different points of view: psychological, scientific, artistic and social.
Workshops
Hands-on labs about well-being and creative expression: art therapy, music therapy, biodanza and shared practices.
Installations
A green space designed as a small urban jungle, where you can stop, meet others and live the festival in a different way.
Tree of Ideas
A collective installation: every visitor can leave a thought, a worry or a proposal to imagine the future together.
